Sensei Alex Horsfall – Chief Instructor 5th Dan

Alexander Horsfall (Alex) studied the art of Shukokai Karate under his father Sensei Robin Horsfall from an early age.

Sensei Alex teaches at The Park Club Acton, The Scout Hut Kingston upon Thames, Tudor Hall Kingston upon Thames, St Pauls Girls School Hammersmith and at The Roehampton Club.

He has 12 years teaching experience as a full time instructor. National Junior Champion twice. England team member 2000-2003 and 2013 Third in Samurai National Championship 2001 National Heavyweight Black Belt Champion 2003.

Alex is married with 3 children. Away from Karate he enjoys Rugby, Rock Climbing and Brazilian Jiu Jujitsu. He also assists with coaching rugby at his sons rugby club in Teddington.

Sensei David Barrett – 2nd Dan

David completed his apprenticeship with London Karate which he started in September 2012.

David teaches at South Oxhey, Brentford, The Harbour Club and the Lensbury Club.

Sensei Oskar Brightman – 2nd Dan

Oskar has been training with Kyo Rei Karate for 15 years, He started Karate when he was 4 years old.

Oskar teaches at Pools on the Park, The Lensbury, Durston House School, The Putney Club, The Bank of England and Latchmere School

Sensei Alex Cuff – 2nd Dan

Alex has been training with Kyo Rei Karate for 15 years, He started Karate when he was 4 years old.

Alex teaches at The Kingston Academy, Durston House School, The Riverside Club, The Swedish School, The Roehampton Club and Davis Hall

Sensei Jamie Naden – 1st Dan

Jamie teaches at Belmont School, All Saints Church Hall in Hampton, St Paul’s Girls School, Club des Sports and St Mary’s Oatlands in Weybridge.

Sensei Carol Geldart – 2nd Dan

Carol has been doing karate for ten years and is a 2nd dan black belt.

Carol has two grown-up children of her own.
